Red Brick House Print
P Buckley Moss Artist
Red Brick House by P Buckley Moss is a fine art, signed and numbered, limited edition print. The artwork features The Arnold House in Waynesboro, Virginia.
The Arnold House, also known as the “The Red Brick House,” is on the schedule to be demolished by the city of Waynesboro, Virginia. The house, built around 1820, was the first masonry structure built in classic federal style in Waynesboro. It was the city’s first school and nearly 50 years later became home of the Masonic Lodge. This house witnessed the Blue Ridge Railroad connecting Augusta County with the rest of Virginia rail lines. It also witnessed one of the last battles of the Civil War–the Battle of Waynesboro. This house may be the oldest building still standing in the City of Waynesboro.
